MD-1366 EBEM

The MD-1366 EBEM is the only commercially-available bandwidth efficient modem certified to MIL-STD-188-165B. The MD-1366 defines a new military standard for high-speed satellite communications. Using military and commercial satellites at X, C, Ku, and Ka band frequencies, the MD-1366 delivers much-needed capacity for the military's high-speed broadband and multimedia transmissions.MD-1366 Enhanced Bandwidth Efficient Modem

The MD-1366 supports the communications, command, and control requirements of today's highly mobile military forces. The modem interfaces to a variety of legacy military communications equipment, but uses advanced technologies, such as turbo coding and higher-order modulation techniques, to increase efficiency and throughput.

LinkWayS2 VSAT

The ViaSat LinkWayS2 hubless MF-TDMA VSAT system enables you to cost-effectively integrate a variety of applications into a single platform in any network topology – mesh, star, or multi-star. Adaptive on-demand bandwidth allocation and bandwidth-efficient coding and modulation engineered into the LinkWayS2 system gives you cost-effective broadband connections between any LinkWay-equipped sites. Features such as turbo coding and 8PSK modulation provide substantial bandwidth savings, reducing your transponder costs compared with other systems.

The system provides true network-centric connectivity, integrating seamlessly with your networking applications using IP or frame relay, automatically routing your network data via satellite. IP and frame relay are supported natively on the same platform and in the same network simultaneously, maximizing your networking options.

Joint IP Modem (JIPM) for Standardized Access to the GIG

JIPM combines flexible satellite networking with information assurance capabilities to deliver secure, highspeed IP communications to the military and government agencies.  JIPM is the Department of Defense (DoD) satellite modem standard for connecting all US forces.  This system powers an IP networking backbone across the battlespace, enabling today's information-hungry warfighters to efficiently share voice, video, and data communications over military and commercial satellites (including Ka band) using adaptive and variable coded modulation techniques.

VPCMA-70 Satellite Signal Canceller for Bandwidth Savings

Maximize your satellite capacity and slash bandwidth costs with the VPCMA-70.  This frequency-reuse appliance harnesses the power of ViaSat’s patented Paired Carrier Multiple Access (PCMA) technology to cut satellite bandwidth needs by as much as fifty percent.  By simply adding the device to your satellite network, you can expand the capacity of transponders, free up bandwidth for more applications, and lower your network’s operating costs.  The VPCMA-70 boosts the capacity of your satellite transponder space by combining the uplink and downlink transmissions into the same bandwidth.  The device cancels signals with bandwidths of 1 to 36 MHz, offering the widest cancellation capability available.
