Jason Smith

Jason leads Viasat's Global Services team and is responsible for all central operations and service functions. He is responsible for ensuring exceptional customer experience from satellite and network availability to field services and support.

 

Prior to Viasat, Jason was Chief Operations Officer of Inmarsat from 2016 and was responsible for transformations focused on customer service, business improvement, and operational performance. Jason has held several senior roles with defense, commercial and international responsibilities through his career and enjoys creating high performance teams dedicated to delivering customer commitments. Jason is the contact for our relationship with the UK government on Viasat undertakings related to the Inmarsat acquisition.

 

Jason has a BSc in Mathematics and Physics from Glasgow University, and an MBA from Napier University.
