Keeping passengers connected
SBB is a proven, dependable way to stay connected, regardless of which aircraft type is being operated or which route is being flown across the world. This helps to ensure the needs of business aviation passengers and crew are being met, from in-seat mobile phone and text services to emails and web browsing.
With consistency and performance by design, SBB has been the world’s leading L-band service for business aviation since 2009. It offers speeds up to 432Kbps using smaller antennas that are suitable as primary connectivity for smaller or older aircraft, or a complementary system to our Jet ConneX in-flight connectivity service over Ka-band.
Customers will soon have access to SwiftJet, our advanced new L-band business aviation connectivity service that offers maximum speeds up to 2.6Mbps, up to six times faster than SBB. For thousands of existing SBB customers, there will be a seamless, natural upgrade path with minimal changes to installed equipment, while new customers will experience the same installation ease as any of our L-band terminals.
